Actress-turned-politician Khushbu Sundar is known for her aggressive nature in politics. No matter which party she is with, she doesn't shy away from speaking her heart out. The same nature landed her in trouble but she did not change her style. Yet again her comments created a sensation.

It is known that the parties are going after the welfare schemes. The ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu is no different. A scheme was introduced to give Rs 1000 to women every month. Responding to the scheme Khushbu Sundar said that the scheme is alms.
