Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy was the last Chief Minister of the combined AP. Many call him the jackpot CM too. He also faces criticism for trying to mislead the movement to have a combined state. Nallari served as the speaker and became the CM directly as the MLA without becoming the Minister. He hails from a political family and he continued the legacy.

YSR is credited for giving an upliftment to the Nallari family politically. His encouragement helped Kiran to shine in politics. Due to the equations in the Chittoor district politics, he could not get the Ministry. However, he was made the speaker. As he was the speaker when YSR died in 2009, the leadership looked at him and this created a path for his CM post. This is the biggest help YSR did to Nallari.

If we look at the Chittoor District politics, Kiran Kumar Reddy’s father Amarnath Reddy was active. He was the previous generation Congress leader. He dominated the Chittoor district in the 60s and 70s. He also served as the Minister. Chandrababu who was elected as MLA for the first time in 1978 on a Congress ticket, did politics against Amaranath Reddy. He fielded Kuthuhalamma in the ZP Chairman elections against the ruling Congress, who lost. With this things became problematic between Amaranath Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu.

The same situation lasted for some time. The rivalry between the families was intact which continued when Kiran Kumar Reddy was active too. Kiran who was elected as MLA for the first time in 1989 was also against Chandrababu. There was a popular opinion that YSR made Kiran Kumar Reddy the speaker due to the differences between them. Chandrababu Naidu was not present as the opposition leader when Kiran was made the Speaker.

With this, we can understand how much hatred Babu has for Kiran. Kiran also used to target Chandrababu. He flayed the principles of Chandrababu Naidu. The same Kiran Kumar Reddy served as the CM for the combined AP for three years and was in exile for ten years. Now he is with the BJP and got the MP ticket from the Rajampet seat.

As TDP is in alliance with the BJP, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu took part in the campaign to support Kiran Kumar Reddy. This was a bit shocking for those who have observed Chittoor and Rayalaseema politics closely to see them together. The two leaders who were rivals for decades are now spotted together with big smiles on their faces.

On the other hand, a section of people say that those who know about Chandrababu will not see it as a shock. They say that he can gel with anyone and leave them if things don't work out. But Kiran Kumar Reddy’s behaviour is a shock. Kiran Kumar Reddy’s stature is similar to that of Babu as he served as the CM for three years.

Earlier Kiran Kumar Reddy made sharp criticism on Chandrababu Naidu that he did not continue the schemes he brought which led to the issues in the Rayalaseema region. People are saying that this is politics and the same Kiran Kumar Reddy is spotted smiling with Babu to win as the MP.

People also wonder if the Nallari scion had forgotten the old things as he shared the stage with Chandrababu to become an MP. Many wonder if this is required for Kiran who served as the CM. It can be seen as a rare pick that two former CMs were spotted together in the wake of the elections.
