Today in the assembly session, CM Revanth Reddy announced that there will be no more special privileges to the film industry as long as he is the chief minister of the state.
And on the other hand, we have the cinematography minister, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. The cinematography minister announced that the government has collectively decided not to permit any benefit shows or additional ticket price hikes for the film industry from now on.
The cinematography minister then went on to do something appreciable as he pledge to donate ₹25 lakh to the family of the deceased. He stated that a mother named Revathi had to lose her life due to the publicity, craving of a film Hero and added that no such incidents will be permitted to happen in Telangana henceforth.
With the cinematography minister officially announcing that there will be no more additional perks to the film industry this comes as a rude shock to the big Money investors in the film industry.
Without ticket, price, hikes and benefit shows recovering, the massive investments is a much tougher task, and this would directly affect the industry in many ways.
