Shocking: Task Force Police @ Konda Surekha’s House

Congress Cabinet minister Konda Surekha is never shot of headlines and this happened again as she stood in the news after Task Force police arrived at her residence in Jubilee Hills last night.

A confrontation broke out between the police department and Surekha’s family as they protected their OSD Sumanth who is named in multiple allegations.

The task force arrived at the minister's residence following the removal of N Sumanth, Officer on Special Duty to Surekha. The task force had gone to search for the OSD based on tip off that he was hiding at Surekha's residence,

Sumanth has been accused of threatening companies for money. As the police reportedly tried to enter the premises, a confrontation ensued between them and the minister's daughter, Konda Sushmita.

A video of Sushmitha confronting the task force officials is circulating on social media. In the video, Sushmitha is heard saying, " He (Sumanth) is not here, what is your problem?". She further asked for proof regarding the allegations against Sumanth, "What de he do? Show me some evidence, and I will call him."

There is a widening rift between Minister Surekha and Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy over tenders worth Rs 71 cr. Surekha has accused Ponguleti of interference in her department, Ponguleti appears to have excluded her from meetings, deepening the standoff.
