It is already known that the United States administration has started to crack down on the immigration and H1B policies.
By: Tupaki Desk | 20 Dec 2025 10:15 AM ISTIt is already known that the United States administration has started to crack down on the immigration and H1B policies. This has lead to a very peculiar situation for the Indian community in the United States.
Reacting on this matter, BRS working president, and the former minister of Telangana KTR has shared a very interesting approach. As an individual who was previously in the United States for higher studies and employment opportunities, KTR must have a good understanding of the situation there.
The sudden spike in US H-1B visa fees has sent ripples through India’s tech and professional corridors, unsettling families, employers and young professionals who have long seen the United States as the natural next step in a global career.
“For Telangana, the significance of H-1B visas goes far beyond numbers. Our global footprint has always been far larger than our geographical size. This pathway reflects the ambition, readiness and competitive spirit of our youth,” says BRS Working President.
KTR pointed out that this new regulation and restriction brought up by the Trump administration in the United States will have serious consequences on the Indian community, and he pointed out that things are not going to progress smoothly.
It is evident that KTR who has a first degree understanding of the situation in the United States is not projecting a positive trend for the Indian community.
It has to be seen if these regulations and restrictions by the Trump administration would show an effect on the volume of the Indian community that has been travelling to the United States.
