Phone tapping is a burning issue in Telangana. When the Lok Sabha elections were around the corner the issue came to light with a war of words between the parties. Adding more intensity to this, a few cops were arrested and sent to remand. As many as four Policemen were arrested in the case.

Giving a political touch to the case, the leaders are also making big comments. The Congress leaders are saying that a few big names would also pop up in the case. A few Congress leaders including the Minister are making severe allegations against BRS Working President KTR.

KTR’s name being taken by the Congress leaders gave a new twist to the case. In the wake of these allegations, KTR gave a strong response and said that defamation notices would be sent. He said that they should Apologise for making these baseless allegations or else they should face the legal consequences.

The former IT Minister also said that the media outlets would als face notices for carrying out the news without proper verification of facts. He said these comments on social media. KTR also shared a news piece from an English newspaper.

The news piece KTR shared on social media shows that Sircilla Congress Leader Mahendar Reddy alleged KTR ordered his phone tapping. He sought a probe into the matter. As per the newspaper Mahendar Reddy sought action against KTR for threatening them.

In response to these allegations, KTR said that they should issue an apology for such baseless allegations or else they should face the legal consequences as they would be served defamation notices.

“Both these Congress fellows (including the minister) will be served legal notices for defamation & slander.Either Apologise for this shameful, baseless & nonsensical allegations or face legal consequences,” KTR said on the X platform.
