Former IT Minister KTR landed in a big controversy over his alleged objectionable comments. His comments on free buses for women and the activities women do did not go well with many. The ruling Congress came down severely against him. Minister Seethakka slammed him and released a video to counter him.

The State Women’s Commission had also stepped in and served notice to KTR. Women’s Commission Chairperson Sharada Nerella said that the issue came to their notice and an inquiry has been called into the issue already.

Now KTR reacted to the issue and said that he would appear before the commission to give his statement. He said that he issued an apology in the issue and still he was served notice by the Commission.

KTR said that he would take the comments made on the lady MLAs in their party by the Chief Minister and other leaders to the Commission's notice. Saying that he is a law-abiding citizen KTR said he would be present before the Women’s Commission. Earlier he was directed by the Women's Commission to be present before it on the 24th of this month.

Earlier KTR issued an apology over this, He said that he casually made these comments at the meeting. KTR said that he did not intend to hurt anyone and he will not hurt the women with his comments.

KTR’s comments created an uproar and led to a war of words between the Congress and BRS. The Congress leaders came down severely on the former Minister. Minister Seethakka even asked if this is the culture his father taught him.
