Election Fever: Leaders Busy Shifting Loyalties!
If we think only the ruling party is facing setbacks then we are wrong.

Election fever had gripped Telangana in the wake of upcoming elections. As per the schedule, the elections will be held next month. The main fight will be between the major parties-ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi(BRS), Congress, and the BJP. However, a few other parties are also gearing up to try their luck.
If we look at the political picture of the state, the leaders are changing their loyalties to other parties. Leaders who missed the tickets and were not encouraged are changing their loyalties from the existing parties to other parties. This is the case with any party.
The ruling BRS is the first party in the state to announce the candidates list. A few candidates missed the tickets. They openly expressed their dissatisfaction with this. Malkajgiri MLA, Mynampalli Hanmanth Rao who tried his level best to get a ticket for his son from the BRS shocked the ruling party and joined the Congress party.
The same was the case with BRS Khanapur MLA Ajmera Rekha Naik. In the list announced by the party, she did not get a ticket and she left the party. As she wants to contest again as the MLA, she applied for a ticket from the Congress and the party is yet to take a call.
If we think only the ruling party is facing setbacks then we are wrong. The grand old Congress also faced issues. After the first list of candidates was announced, leaders who were left out made some crucial comments and said that Revanth Reddy sold the tickets for money.
DCC Chief Patel Prabhakar Reddy and a few others left the party after the list was announced. Senior Congress leader Ponnala Lakshmaiah joined the BRS after leaving the Congress. He joined the party in the presence of CM KCR. Ponnala Lakshmaiah said that he was insulted by the Congress leadership and hence took the decision.
Well, the list is not over. ZPTC members, counselors, and others shifted loyalties to other parties from the existing parties. Few others are said to be in talks with the parties and might announce the decision soon.
