After Australia, It Is UK Against Immigration
Protesters carried national flags, chanted slogans, and demanded stricter immigration controls.
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 Sept 2025 1:52 PM ISTIt’s already known that Australia recently held a mega massive public protest against immigration population and it is the turn of United Kingdom to do the same now. In London, a massive anti-immigration protest shook the city, drawing tens of thousands of people.
The march, called “Unite the Kingdom”, was led by far-right activist Tommy Robinson. Reports suggest that between 110,000 and 150,000 people took part, making it one of the largest demonstrations of its kind in recent years.
Protesters carried national flags, chanted slogans, and demanded stricter immigration controls. Their main concern was that the rising number of immigrants was putting pressure on housing, jobs, and public services in the UK.
At the same time, a counter-protest was organized by the group “Stand Up to Racism.” Around 5,000 people joined this rally, holding banners and shouting against racism and hatred. They accused the far-right groups of spreading fear and division in society. Police were deployed in large numbers to control the situation and prevent clashes between the two sides.
The demonstrations highlight the growing tension in the UK over immigration, an issue that has been at the center of political debate for years. With elections approaching, such protests are expected to influence public opinion and political strategies. The London protest shows how deeply divided the nation remains on the issue of migration.
