New Low In Politics: Con*om Politics In Andhra Pradesh?

It is common for political parties to fight each other and target their opponents. When the elections are approaching the fight between the parties turns intense as personal matters are also used as a weapon. We can imagine the intensity of the political heat in Andhra Pradesh, the poll-bound state.

We are seeing an intense war of words between the parties and the leaders. Recently Nara Lokesh and Gudivada Amarnath had a big fight and even openly said they will exchange the gifts. Now it looks like the political spectrum saw a big low and con*om politics are going on.

A popular media outlet claimed that TDP is marketing itself with the con*om packets and even shared a video. The packet was in Yellow and had the party name printed on it. This gave a new weapon for the ruling YCP. Reteeting the video the YCP asked whether the TDP would stop or stoop low further.

The grand old Telugu Desam Party hit back at the allegations and said that it was YCP which was sharing the con*om and shared the picture. The pictures of con*oms which are said to be having the pictures of the big parties are now doing rounds.

People wonder what made the parties stoop so low and even use the con*om packets for the campaign. It is not that using con*oms is wrong as it promotes safe s*x. But using them for political campaigns is not what one expects to see.

Understandably, both parties want to win the elections due to various reasons. But that doesn’t mean they can use anything for the campaign which is happening now.

There is a big criticism that AP politics lost its charm with personal attacks and objectionable language in the House. AP MLA Balineni Srinivasa Rao recently shed light on the current situation. He said that we are seeing nothing but abuse in the Assembly. Now we are seeing con*om politics.
