This Lady MLA To Get A Place In TDP's Cabinet?

The alliance proved the exit poll surveys right as it came to power in Andhra Pradesh. However, the alliance performed better than the survey predictions. No one would have predicted that the alliance would win over 160 seats and restrict YCP to 11 seats. Even in the MP seats, the alliance dominated.

It was a massive public mandate for the alliance. The stage is set for the swearing-in ceremony of Chandrababu Naidu. Due to the alliance, a few leaders from BJP and Janasena might get the Cabinet berths.

Keeping aside the debate on who from BJP and Janasena would be the Ministers, a woman MLA is getting all the attention with observers weighing in on her possible Cabinet berth. She recorded a big win in a strong fortress and this might help her.

Everyone knows the Kadapa region is the stronghold of the YS family. No others managed to win seats when YSR was CM and the same continued with Jagan. In 2014 and 2019, Jagan’s party had a good hold. But 2024 was different.

Even in the Rayalaseema region alliance won majority seats. But what Redeppagari Madhavi Reddy achieved is historic. She won the Kadapa MLA seat. The last time TDP won the seat was in 1996 and since then TDP could not win it. But Madhavi Reddy achieved it for the party.

While winning the seat is one thing, she defeated Deputy CM Anjad Basha in the elections. This is the first time a woman candidate won the Kadapa seat. As her win is special with these aspects a big debate is going on saying that she might get a Cabinet berth which serves as a growing step. Let us wait for the official news to come.
