Wife Pressure To Move Out Is Cruelty: Court Passes Big Verdict!

The Madras High Court has been one of the best functioning judicial bodies in the country as the kind of orders that are passed here are extremely direct and sincere in nature.

Now the Madras High Court has passed a very interesting order regarding the marital situation of the young couples in the country, and it has a very strong verdict.

The Madras High Court recently opined that a wife, forcing an only son to leave the joint family to set up a separate residence and going to her maternal house frequently without reason, would constitute cruelty on the husband.

The bench of Justice PT Asha and Justice N Mala thus refused to interfere with an order of a Family Court, granting divorce to the husband.

What this essentially means is that a wife cannot pressure the only son of the family, too much in order to get him to move out of the house and leave his parents. Also, frequent visits to her maternal house will constitute to cruelty in the marriage scenario.

This is a very interesting word that has been assured by the Madras High Court and it is leading to multiple discussions already.

At a time when the majority of the decisions issued by the courts in India have been almost entirely in favour of women, this Madras Court’s verdict maintains sanity on this matter.
