US Embassy's Massive Record In Visas In India This Year!
Now the U.S. Mission to India said that it went past its goal of giving visas. The body said that it surpassed the milestone of one million visas. Just in 2023, the visas were given across the categories.

The number of people who move to the United States is increasing with every year passing. No words can describe the craze of the US Dream among the aspirants.
Talking about India, the craze for the US is on the next level. While employees want to move there for better opportunities, in some instances parents send their children to the US as a prestige issue. Seeing others going to America they are sending their kids there. All these factors result in more and more Indians going to America.
Now the U.S. Mission to India said that it went past its goal of giving visas. The body said that it surpassed the milestone of one million visas. Just in 2023, the visas were given across the categories. Having announced this, the embassy said that it would not stop there and the work would progress further.
"#Missionto1M accomplished! We are excited to announce that the U.S. Mission to India has reached and surpassed our goal to process one million visa applications in 2023! We will not stop here and continue our progress in coming months, to give as many Indian applicants the opportunity to travel to the United States," the Embassy said.
The embassy shared a video to its post on social media that shows glimpses of various processes that go into getting visas under different categories.
The visa processing which went through issues due to Covid saw a speed-up in the process and as a result, the numbers are going up. With this, the Visa numbers went past the pre-Covid numbers and saw a spike.
As a crackdown of the data around 10 percent of visas that were issued this year across the globe were granted in India. 20 percent and 65 percent of global student and employment visas were issued in India.
