Revanth Reddy’s Cabinet: Ministers Allotted the Portfolios

As the party got the required numbers the party formed the government and the oath-taking ceremony was held today.

The D-day had arrived. The Congress party which has been trying hard to come to power in the divided state had achieved it in the third elections in Telangana. As the party got the required numbers the party formed the government and the oath-taking ceremony was held today.

Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath. While Revanth Reddy took oath as the Chief Minister, few others were sworn in as the Cabinet Minister. After the ceremony, there were a few doubts about who would get which portfolios. Putting an end to this, the party announced the portfolios of the Cabinet Ministers.

Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka: The senior leader is the deputy of Revanth Reddy. Besides this, he was given the revenue portfolio. His seniority would have come in handy in picking him for the big post.

Uttam Kumar Reddy: The MP contested the MLA elections in 2023 and he was inducted into the Cabinet. The senior hero was given the crucial portfolio of the Home Ministry which plays a key role in governance.

Damodar Raja Narasimha: The Congressman who held various positions in the past including the Deputy Chief Minister in the combined state was given the Health Medical Education Ministry.

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy: The MP who was in the Chief Minister race as per the media reports was allotted the Municipal Administration portfolio.

Duddilla Sridhar Babu: The 54-year-old comes from a political family. His father served as the Speaker in the combined state. Sridhar Babu is a five-time MLA and he was allotted the Finance Ministry.

Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy: A heavyweight leader who holds good strength in the Khammam region served as the MP earlier. In the Cabinet, he was given the Water Resources portfolio.

Seethakka: The MLA who comes from Mulugu, a strong Tribal heartland in the state was given the Tribal Welfare portfolio.

Ponnam Prabhakar: The former MP was allotted the BC Welfare portfolio.
