I Apologize To Our Deity: PM Modi’s Key Comments!

The Narendra Modi-led union government is focusing more on improving the infrastructure and big projects are coming up in the country. If we look at the infra projects in the country in Modi's tenure we can name many. However, the government has been facing immense criticism over the quality.

It is known that a big statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was constructed in Sindhudurg earlier. However, the statue collapsed earlier which led to a big row. The issue took a political turn with the party facing big criticism.

Now the Prime Minister reacted to this and issued an apology. Narendra Modi said that he is apologizing to his deity Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for what had happened. Calling himself a devotee of Shivaji Maharaj, the Prime Minister apologized.

Narendra Modi said that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is not a name to them and he is a deity. The Prime Minister said that he always saw Shivaji Maharaj as his deity and recalled what he did when he was named as the Prime Minister candidate back in 2013.

Narendra Modi said that he embarked on a new journey sitting in front of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's samadhi at Raigad when he was announced as the Prime Minister candidate in 2013.

Talking about the statue which was in the news due to collapse earlier this month was constructed in December last year. The statue was inaugurated in a big way with massive celebrations. However, the 35-foot Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue collapsed which led to severe criticism.
