See how Modi shows utmost respect to India’s flag!!

Narendra Modi's presence of mind and quick action are legion. He takes spur of the moment decisions and wows everyone with his simplicity. The way Modi took care to bring along a small Tricolour while greeting the scientists on their Chandrayan success has won hearts. He showed his patriotism with this act and this has spurred nation-wide flaunting of the Tricolour to mark the ISRO success.

Another such demonstration of his love for the Indian flag was seen at the Group Photo session of the BRICS conclave in South Africa. The organisers kept small replicas of the national flags of various participating countries to denote the place where the heads of various states will have to stand for the photo session.

While climbing up the steps of the podium, Modi noticed the replica of the Indian flag. He bent down to pick it up and put it in his pocket. South African president Cyril Ramaphosa followed suit and picked up his national flag. An aide immediately ran towards the VIPs to collect the replicas. While Ramaphosa handed his flag over to him, Modi kept his' in his pocket.

Modi's prompt display of patriotism and respect for the national symbol has won the praise of the netizens. Many shared the video clip of the incident and praised Modi for his presence of mind. Some, however, said this was a cheap publicity trick to wow the voters back home in India.
