Did Prime Minister Narendra Modi promote YS Sharmila, AP PCC chief? Did he indirectly campaign for the Congress which is not in the picture in the state? These are the doubts many have looking at the first meeting held in Andhra Pradesh after BJP, TDP, and Janasena allied for the elections.

Ahead of the much-awaited general elections in Andhra Pradesh, the three parties allied. The first joint meeting of the alliance was held the other day. It is common to expect the leaders of the parties to send a message to the people on what they would do if elected to power.

Moreover, Narendra Modi landed in Andhra Pradesh for a political meeting after a long time. For this reason, the meeting grabbed everyone’s attention to see what he would offer for the state. But his speech raised a new doubt on whether he promoted YS Sharmila.

The Congress party lost its charm in the state and the vote percentage of the party is also not great. Despite this, the Prime Minister mentioned the party’s name multiple times which is strange and not needed at all.

As the alliance is eyeing power in the state, the ruling party should be its target. Instead, it appeared that Narendra Modi focused on YS Sharmila and the Congress party. Not just once he took the name of the party multiple times which is not expected. Congress party is not strong in Andhra Pradesh and its vote share will be close to just one percent.

Looking at the meeting it appeared that Narendra Modi made promotions for the Congress party which is not strong in the state and doesn't even have a strong base. By targeting Congress many feel that Narendra Modi indirectly campaigned for the party and gave elevations for it.

There is no need to bring the Congress party into the scene. Whether Narendra Modi targeted Congress casually as the party is its main opponent or he targeted the party to see that it won’t grow in the state there is no clarity. But a section of people think that he indirectly campaigned for the Congress party.
