Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath combo is a deadly combo for the Bharatiya Janata Party. The duo spun magic many times and the party dominated the state in terms of the MP seats.

After a long time, a party won two consecutive elections in the state. With this, we can imagine the magic of the duo. The exit poll surveys also predicted that BJP might win the majority of seats in Uttar Pradesh. But the counting episode gave a big shock to the party.

BJP is leading in less than half seats in the state while the INDIA alliance is leading in the majority of seats. This can be seen as a big blow to the BJP and its supporters.

Observers say that the Modi-Yogi duo lost the magic and this is why the party is leading in fewer seats. Uttar Pradesh has been the fortress of the BJP for some time.

Despite this, the BJP is facing a tough time. Samajwadi Party bouncing back can be a big reason for this as the party is leading in around 30 seats. Even in the seat which is close to the Ayodhya SP is leading.

Looking at this the NDA alliance might have to work hard in reaching the magic figure. Earlier the exit poll surveys said that BJP might go past the 350 seats. But the reality is different.
