Mohammed Shami has been one of the Prime bowlers for India for a long time. Irrespective of the formats he gives his best and makes batsmen dance with his deliveries. He was last seen in action in the World Cup in India. He claimed the highest wickets despite playing fewer watches.

He is on the recovery journey and he is expected to don the blue jersey soon. Earlier media reports were abuzz about his marriage to a tennis star. In his latest interview, he cleared all the doubts on this.

Earlier reports said that Mohammed Shami might tie the knot with Tennis star Sania Mirza. Responding to this Shami said that there is no truth behind this and gave his thoughts on memes too.

Shami said that he likes memes and they should be fun. He said that memes should be funny but false news should be spread. Adding further he said that those who talk about someone’s personal issues should be careful and false news should not be spread.

Shami said that those who share news on such issues should talk about such things on verified pages and then he will reply on the issues. He not only rubbished the wedding rumours but also shed light on the dark side of memes in sharing the false news.

In the same interview, Shami also shed light on the 2019 World Cup in which India was knocked out of the semis. He said that he played few matches and took 13 wickets and despite this, he was not selected for the semis against New Zealand. He said that he has no question and answer on why he missed the semis spot.

In the 2023 World Cup Shami breathed fire on the ground. In just seven games he took 24 wickets and he took a fifer in three matches including the crucial semis against New Zealand. India ended up as runner-up in the 50-over World Cup hosted by India.
