Prime Minister’s Money Heist Attack On Congress Over Corruption

Fighting against corruption and bringing back the black money are the core promises the Bharatiya Janata Party made before the 2014 polls. The party leaders still talk about the promises and accuse the opposition of corruption and irregularities. We have been seeing this over the years.

While the black money was not brought to India yet, we are seeing the raids on the opposition party leaders. The opposition parties and leaders often say that only they face the raids while the ruling party leaders are ignored. Adding fuel to this, the agencies only target the opposition leaders.

In one such raid, the agencies struck gold by raiding the premises of Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dhiraj Sahu. Money and gold were seized by the authorities and it is said that this is the biggest seizure in a single raid so far.

The searches were launched to look into the alleged irregularities concerning a liquor company and searches were held at multiple locations. The issue is one of the much-discussed topics in the country without any doubt.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reacted to the searches and invoked the popular web series Money Heist to target the Congress party. The PM asked what is the need to have Money Heist when there is a Congress party.

“In India, who needs 'Money Heist' fiction, when you have the Congress Party, whose heists are legendary for 70 years and counting!,” PM Modi said sharing a video posted by BJP.

The BJP often accuses the grand old Congress party of ruling the party for seventy years and indulging in corruption in various areas. The saffron party never misses an opportunity. Irrespective of positions, the BJP leaders say the same and Prime Minister Narendra Modi also did the same now.
