Most ministers fail to get tickets for their wards
Leaders like Sabitha Indra Reddy, home minister Mahmood Ali and others are unable to get party tickets for their wards.

While several members of KCR’s family like son KTR, nephew Harish Rao, daughter Kavitha Kalwakuntla, close relatives B Vinod and Santosh Kumar are in key positions, the same cannot be said about the wards of other key leaders.
Leaders like Sabitha Indra Reddy, home minister Mahmood Ali and others are unable to get party tickets for their wards. Sabitha’s son Karthik Reddy has not been given party ticket this time. Last time, he contested for the MP seat and lost. Similarly, Mahmood Ali’s son wanted to contest from Malakpet, but KCR has decided not to annoy the MIM, which currently represents the constituency.
Similarly, former home minister Devender Goud’s son Veerender Goud failed to secure BJP ticket to contest from Uppal. Similarly, former minister Uma Madhav Reddy’s son Sandeep Reddy too could not get the party ticket to contest this time. Similarly, KCR rejected the claims of former home minister Nayini Narsimha Reddy’s son-in-law Srinivas Reddy to contest from Musheerabad.
The only exception seems to be Congress war horse K Jana Reddy’s son Raghuveera Reddy. He has been given the party’s ticket to contest from Nagarjuna Sagar. But, there is a catch. Jana Reddy has opted out of the contest. Whether Raghuveera Reddy will be able to break the jinx and win from the Nagarjunasagar assembly constituency remains to be seen.
