Keeping His Word Mudragada Turns Padmanabha Reddy Officially!

Pawan Kalyan’s candidacy made Pithapuram a hot seat without any doubt. Both sides gave the best efforts. There is another reason behind Pithapuram seat grabbing everyone’s attention. It was Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham. He joined the then YSRCP and made big statements.

Mudragada dared Pawan Kalyan to win the Pithapuram seat and said if he did this he would change his name to Padmanabha Reddy from Mudragada Padmanabham. The issue created a big sensation back then. After the results, Janasena supporters trolled Mudragada on this with posters on his name-changing ceremony.

No matter what Mudragada Padmanabham kept his word and changed his name. Officially he became Padmanabha Reddy as a Gazette was issued on this stating that Padmanabham changed his name to Padmanabha Reddy.

Earlier the Kapu leader said that he is accepting the defeat as Pawan Kalyan won the Pithapuram seat and he will change his name. Following this he changed his name and a Gazette was also issued by the heads of department. The document is now doing rounds on social media.

When Mudragada said he would change his name, a few Reddy organizations said no and asked whose permission he had sought to do so. However, Mudragad went ahead with this and changed his name officially. Now we have to see what the Community leaders would say about the new development.
