Now it is the case of Andhra Pradesh, IT minister Lokesh to face the situation as he recently went to Sri Lanka to watch the game between India and Pakistan.
Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh strongly responded to former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Sakshi Media’s comments related to the Colombo tour. While the media channel reported that Lokesh has spent crores of public money on this Cricket trip to Sri Lanka, here is what he had to say in response.
Lokesh said that Jagan is trying to spread unnecessary criticism and confusion about the government’s foreign visits and development efforts.
Lokesh stated that he did not use a single rupee from the GOVERNMENT resources, and this is entirely a private trip where he spent his own money.
He stated that the present government is focused on rebuilding the state’s economy, bringing industries, creating jobs, and restoring investor confidence, which he claimed was damaged during the previous administration.
He further accused Jagan of ignoring development during his tenure and now attempting to politicize every step taken by the current government. Lokesh said that instead of making baseless allegations, the opposition should support initiatives that help the state grow.
According to Lokesh, international tours are part of a larger strategy to place Andhra Pradesh on the global investment map. He emphasized that transparency will be maintained in all agreements and that the people will soon see positive results from these efforts.
