Incidentally global football sensation, and one of the most legendary players in the history of this sport, David Beckham arrived at the government School in Venkat Palem in Vizag yesterday and spent some quality time with the kids.

He wasn’t there for a show. He came to witness how children learn when classrooms shift from memorising lessons to leading their own learning.

His visit brought attention to the work being done by Mantra4Change and Education Above All, who are helping schools move towards a model where students think independently, work in teams, and tackle real problems that matter to their lives.

Former England football captain and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Sir David Beckham scheduled a visit to MJPAPBCWREIS(Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Andhra Pradesh Backward Classes Welfare Educational Institutions Society) residential school for girls at Kothavalasa in Visakhapatnam.

The video of David Beckham casually playing football with the students at the school is now going viral on social media and the government is being appreciated for making something as big as this happen.
