The Manipur violence which is the burning issue in the country is getting bigger and bigger with each passing day. The opposition parties are demanding a response on the issue from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The opposition parties got a big opportunity to corner the Union government on the issue.

It is known that the opposition parties came under one roof and named the alliance as INDIA. To corner the Centre on the issue, the alliance wanted to move a no confidence motion. Now it is said that the INDIA alliance served a notice to the Centre.

It is said that two notices were used by INDIA and BRS. The Lok Sabha is said to have accepted the notice. The notice moved by BRS is said to have been supported by AIMIM as well. The Lok Sabha speaker is said to have accepted the no confidence motion moved by the Congress. The Speaker said that the time of the discussion would be fixed after discussing with all the parties.

With the speaker accepting the motion, political observers are hoping that the opposition parties would get a big opportunity to corner Narendra Modi on the Manipur issue and other issues. The opposition parties are said to have readied a few weapons to ahot at the Centre.

BRS MP Nama Nageshwar Rao said that a notice was given to the Speaker. He said that Manipur issue and other issues will be raised. In the last nine years the Centre failed in many issues and the same would be discussed he said.

Looking at the numbers in the house, the NDA alliance has a strength of 330 members. On the other hand, INDIA has 140 members. There are 60 other members from other parties who are not from any allaince. Their votes would give a clear picture about their stand.

Political observers say that this is the big opportunity for the opposition parties to target the Union government on various issues including the burning issue Manipur. We have to wait and see how intensely the fight would be.

On the other hand, the Lok Sabha elections are slated to be held next year. Ahead of the polls, the no confidence motion was tabled. We have to wait and see what happens next.

If the Narendra Modi speaks about the Manipur issue in the house then the INDIA alliance can take the credit of making the PM speak about this, months after it happened. The alliance can also target him saying that the opposition parties had to step in to make him speak.
