The year 2020 cannot be forgotten by us thanks to the Covid pandemic. The Covid pandemic had hit us and together as a world, we went through many problems. Almost everything around us came to a standstill and a lockdown was imposed. Work From Home became the new normal.

It took around three years for us to come back to normal. Now a shocking thing has come out which says that a new condition is raising many fears and it can be the next pandemic in the world.

The mpox detected in the African continent is raising many fears. The condition comes with a high spreading rate making it even dangerous. Mpox is said to have spread to Pakistan too.

As an example of the seriousness of the condition, the WHO had declared a global health emergency. This is the second time the emergency was declared by the global body as far as mpox is concerned.

Experts say that the Virus was first found in 1958 while the first human infection was recorded in 1970. Despite this, the virus was neglected by the health bodies. Everyone started talking about it when it struck back in 2022 and infected many.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) also declared the condition an emergency in Africa. The current strain is said to be very dangerous and comes with a high transmission rate.

Coming in contact with the infected person spreads the condition further. Mpox is also spread if the things used by the infected person are used by others. Mpox is related to smallpox, cowpox, and vaccinia.

Fever, intense headache, muscle aches, back pain, low energy, swollen lymph nodes, and skin rash are the symptoms of Mpox.
