A battle royale between a film hero and a film producer?

A battle royale between a film hero and a film producer? Well! This is the buzz in Nizamabad district these days. The rumour mill is working overtime churning out stories that popular film producer Dil Raju could make a political foray soon and opposing him would be another prominent film personality from the same district – hero Nithin.

Though Nitin and Dil Raju were together for hit flick Dil, which game Raju his moniker, the two fell out during the production of Bhishma. The two had a huge spat. Nithin's father Sudhakar Reddy is a distributor and film financer. Since then, the two have not worked together.

There is a buzz that Dil Raju could be the BRS candidate from Nizamabad this time around. To oppose him, the Congress is said to be planning to field Nithin. Nithin has strong political connections and his uncle Nagesh Reddy is a functionary in the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee. So, the Congress might ask him to fight Dil Raju's filmi aura with Nithin;s glamour.

Interestingly, even the BJP is courting Nithin. BJP's big boss Amit Shah had in the past met Nithin during his visit to Hyderabad. This set off a speculation that he might join the BJP. However, Nithin has revealed his mind so far. It is also not clear whether these two biggies will clash for the Lok Sabha or assembly.
