One of the principal reasons behind the meeting between the Tollywood delegation and chief minister Revanth Reddy today is to sort out the ticket price hike and benefit shows issue. However, this remained unsolved with the meeting today.

CM Revanth firmly announced the end of benefit shows, a long-standing tradition in the Telugu film industry. "There will be no more benefit shows from now on," the CM declared, stating that such practices often lead to law and order issues and unfair practices.

He emphasized his commitment to the promises made in the state assembly, adding that celebrities and filmmakers must take responsibility for controlling their fans during public events.

Addressing recent disturbances, including the tragic incident at Sandhya Theater that claimed a woman's life, the CM assured strict action and reforms. "The government took the incident seriously because a life was lost," he said, promising measures to prevent such occurrences in the future. The CM also warned that unruly behavior by bouncers would no longer be tolerated.

However, he carried a positive tone about one single aspect."The film industry is as important as IT and pharma in driving Telangana's economy," he stated. He urged the industry to adopt socially responsible practices, participate in campaigns for drug awareness and women's safety, and promote temple tourism and eco-tourism as part of "Telangana Rising." Revanth concluded.
