We have the case of an Indian tourist who has sadly lost his life in a horrifying incident that has happened in New York.

Romanch Mahajan was visiting New York City from India when he, his parents, and his younger brother took a horse-drawn carriage ride. Mahajan had asked the driver to take a photo of the group, prompting the driver to stop the vehicle and step down.

As the driver stood back to capture the family photo, the horse suddenly bolted.

Romanch’s father, Deepak Mahajan, told the New York Times that Romanch's mother, Priya, fell out of the vehicle and Romanch attempted to save her, but fell from the carriage himself, striking his head on the pavement.

“We were yelling, ‘Help me, help me!’” Deepak recalled, adding that Romanch had been screaming for his mother after her fall. “My son, just to save his mother, he fell off." At one point, the family's carriage collided with another carriage and overturned.

This incident has instantly grabbed the attention as Romanch has accused to the injuries, and this has put serious doubts on the tourism industry in New York.
