Officials Arrested 137 Indians In Sri Lanka!

As many as 137 Indians were arrested by the officials in Sri Lanka on the allegations of betting, gambling, financial allegations, and cyber scams. These arrests were made from Madiwela, Battaramulla, and Negombo from the Colombo suburbs as informed by Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa.

As part of the arrests, the officials seized 158 mobile phones, 16 laptops, and 60 desktop computers. Along with 55 suspects in Negombo, 55 mobile phones and 29 laptops were seized. On the other hand, 53 people were taken into custody from Kochchikade along with 31 laptops and 58 mobile phones.

As part of the operation conducted at Madiwela 13 suspects were arrested by the officials while 8 laptops and 38 mobile phones were seized. In Thalangama 16 suspects were arrested while 8 laptops and 38 mobile phones were seized by the concerned officials.
