No More Sex Restrictions: Athletes To Be Distributed Con*oms!

The Olympic Village in Paris is all set to be the host for the much awaited Paris Olympics 2024. Athletes across the sports and countries will be hosted by the village for the prestigious event. The Olympics will start in July which is a few months away.

Ahead of this, the organizers announced a sensational thing and said that athletes will be provided with con*oms. As many as 3 lakh con*oms were made available to be distributed. The decision was taken to provide a comfortable environment for the athletes.

14,250 athletes will be a part of the Olympics and they will be handed over the con*oms by the organisers. The athletes will be staying in the quarters that were allocated to them.

The decision changes the quo of the 2022 Olympics. It is known that the Tokyo Olympics organisers imposed a ban on s*x as COVID was ringing danger bells. As a safety measure the decision was taken.

It is said that even when the ban was imposed the athletes were provided with con*oms and were asked to not use them in the Village.

With the COVID situation coming under control the Paris Olympics will not be having any restrictions and the con*oms will be distributed with the athletes.

The practice of handing over con*oms to the athletes is not new and it has been followed for decades as the trend was started in late 1980s. With every edition the count of con*oms which are distributed are increasing significantly.

The main motto behind this was to create awareness for HIV and having a safe s*x. As athletes enjoy a massive popularity the message can be taken to the public easily.

Con*oms were distributed for the first time during the 1988 Seoul Olympics where around 8,500 con*oms were handed over.

Since 2000 the numbers have been increasing and in the 2016 Olympics over 4 lakh con*oms were distributed, the report says.

On the other hand the athletes will also feast on a wide range of delicacies as hundreds of food items are said to be arranged at the village.
