It is a known fact that many Indians go abroad for higher education. Parents also see sending their kids abroad as a prestige issue and take immense pride in this.No words can describe their happiness if their children get a US visa. They share their happiness with their relatives and friends and send them sweets.

But many students are facing deportation shock. It is known that we have heard of a few incidents. The reports say that hundreds of students were deported back due to various reasons and the process is said to be going on.

The Immigration authorities are thoroughly checking the documents and the chats the students had. If they sense something suspicious then they will be deported. It is also said that a few students were sent back after checking their English-speaking skills.

It is a big shock to the students who landed in the US with a dream of pursuing higher studies and their dreams fell apart. After going through a lot of processes and spending a big amount, they were sent back.

While this is the case of students, parents of the students are going through different issues. Besides the big amount they have spent, parents have to go through a lot of trauma. Neighbors and relatives ask about their children asking what happened to them.

No words can describe the trauma. Adding salt to the wounds created by the deportation of the children, they have to answer the questions that came their way. If relatives' children successfully make it to the US Visa and land there without any issues then the pain is unbearable.

They have to see their children going through pain and listen to their relatives and friends happily talking about their children's successful American visit. More than the students, parents go through a tough time with this.

What happened and is happening is a wake-up call for the students who would apply for the American visa further. They should be extra careful in the documents they submit to the embassy and the issues they discuss with friends living in the US in chats.
