Parliament Security Breach: Two Incidents Related?

Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu paid tributes to the security personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice fighting terrorists in the 2001 Parliament attack as today marks the anniversary of the attack that happened 22 years ago.

Making December 13 an even darker date, a massive security breach was reported in Lok Sabha today. During the zero hour, two intruders from the visitors' gallery realised a smoke bomb leaving the members in a tense state. The House was also adjourned briefly.

Shocking things are coming out in connection with the incident. The two accused who created a sensation inside the Parliament House were identified as Sagar Sharma and D Manoranjan as per the visitors' pass that was issued to them.

Two others held a protest outside the house and they are said to have raised some slogans. A few media reports say that the four might be known to each other and a big planning went into the incident.

It cannot be a coincidence that two people created a ruckus in the house with the help of a smoke bomb and two others held a protest at almost the same time line. A woman and man who were detained outside the house reportedly carried coloured pressurised canisters at the time of the arrest.

A case has been filed and the concerned authorities are looking into it. As the motive behind the incident is not known yet, they are digging deeper into the incident. We have to wait and see if there is any relation between the two incidents and any pre-planning that went into the attack.
