Something extremely unexpected and antisocial has happened in the Tirupati region of Andhra Pradesh. The government had completed the execution of a new road in the area but it was immediately dug up by the local political activists.

This road construction project took around ₹4.75 crore to construct and the Andhra Pradesh government had completed the funding of the same recently.

But due to local politics, a local YCP leader had reportedly dug up this road for his own personal interest and this matter has reached deputy CM Pawan Kalyan as well now.

On this occasion, Pawan Kalyan gave directions to officials on the actions to be taken against those responsible.

He ordered that destroying government assets meant for public convenience is an unforgivable crime, and cases should be filed under non-bailable sections against the individual who destroyed the Palle Panduga road.

He made it clear that destroying a highway built with public money is a heinous act, and leaders who participated in such actions, as well as those behind them, must be brought before the law.

He stated that the true nature of those who damage basic infrastructure facilities provided by the government for public convenience must be exposed to everyone. This pretty much indicates that the government is extremely serious with what had happened and the concerned individual could be facing strong legal consequences.

Non-bailable warrant has been filed against the YCP local leader already and it should be a matter of time before he faces the police consequences for the same.
