Pawan Kalyan Says No To Honorary Doctorate!

One gets a Doctorate if he or she completes research on any topic. As a token of recognition for the understanding of the topic. There is another way of getting a Doctorate which is an honorary doctorate. Personalities were presented with doctorates for the contributions they made.

Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan was selected for a doctorate. However, he said no to this honor and placed a request to give it to others who truly deserve it. This left his fans and followers feeling very happy about his big decision.

The Tamil Nadu Vels University wanted to honour him with a doctorate. However, Pawan Kalyan gently refused this and asked the University to give it to deserving candidates.

To honour the actor-politician, the University invited him to attend the convocation event. To the administration's surprise, the Janasena chief said no to the honour and asked them to grant the doctorate to candidates who were more deserving than him.

Pawan Kalyan is not just an actor and politician. He is known for his humanitarian work. This was proven many times and in many instances. He has been doing this for many years. His humanitarian work might have been the parameter for the University to select Pawan Kalyan for the doctorate.

Very rarely people are selected for honorary Doctorates. Despite getting the rare opportunity, the Janasena chief choose to say no to the doctorate. He is getting a wide range of applause for his big decision.

This is not the first time Pawan Kalyan received a big honour. Back in 2017, Pawan Kalyan was invited to deliver a speech at Harvard University. He became the center of attraction at the 14th edition of India Conference with his speech. He received a grand welcome at the stage. The University and the guests at the Conference were shocked looking at his craze.
