Senior Legislator Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary administered the oath-taking ceremony of the members of the Assembly as the Pro-tem speaker.
There are a few interesting moments in the Assembly on Day One involving four leaders. There is no guess in this as the names are Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, Nara Lokesh, and YS Jagan.
Chandrababu Naidu: The TDP boss entered the Assembly House after one and a half years. When he was in opposition the YCP leaders used objectionable language in the house and his wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari’s name was also dragged. Not happy with this he said this is Kaurava Sabha and he enters the House only after becoming CM. The likes of Mudragada mocked him too. But he became the CM and took the oath today.
Pawan Kalyan: This can be seen as an emotional moment for his fans and family. It's been a decade since Janasena was floated and the party could not leave a mark in 2019 polls. The party lost elections and Pawan lost from two seats. YCP leaders mocked him on this. Roja said they will not let Pawan even touch the Assembly House. Pawan won the elections and proudly entered the Assembly.
Nara Lokesh: The Nara scion had a big transformation in his political life. When he lost the 2019 elections from Mangalagiri, YCP targeted him and his father on this. Nara Lokesh took this as a challenge and proved what he could do. After 1985 TDP won the Mangalgiri seat and he is the Cabinet Minister now.
While the three are happy there is an emotional moment too. YS Jagan who entered the elections with the slogan of winning 175 seats was restricted to just 11 seats. He might have not predicted this. Jagan took oath as MLA and shortly left the house.
