The Janasena party led by Pawan Kalyan lost the 2019 elections cheaply and everyone knows this. The main reason the party supporters give for this is that money was not spent in elections and they strongly gave the Zero Politics reason. They proudly say that they did not make any expenditures in politics.

But it appears that the party wants to move away from Zero politics. The comments made by Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan started the debate. He made sensational comments about spending money in politics for the elections and other expenses.

While addressing the party activists in Bhimavaram Pawan Kalyan made crucial comments on spending money for elections. He said that leaders should spend money and asked how things would work if money was not spent even on providing the food.

On the occasion, he also made big comments on buying votes. He left the decision of whether or not to buy the votes to the leaders as he said that they should take a call on this.

The election commission has increased the expenses to Rs 45 lakhs. If a situation arises where there is no need to buy votes then it’s good. But the whole nation is living with a beautiful lie. Crores are spent on this, but no one speaks about this, he said.

His comments created a sensation with people wondering whether Pawan Kalyan is giving hints of moving away from zero-politics and spending money for the elections. The polls are not that far from now in the state.

It is an open secret that money plays a big role in elections and money is spent like water. In the Munugode by-elections, a big amount was spent making it the most costly elections in the recent past. This is the harsh reality of politics. It looks like Pawan Kalyan indirectly addressed the point.
