Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan became the talk of the town with his performance in the recent elections. His party recorded a 100 percent strike rate and he won the Pithapuram seat with a big margin. There were many reports behind the post he would get. He was appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister and he holds crucial portfolios.

The Deputy Chief Minister attended the Swarna Grama Panchayat Program held at Railway Koduru and made key comments. At the meeting, he shed light on the importance of the Villages and how they are important for the state and its growth.

Pawan Kalyan said that developing villages is crucial for the state government. Saying that they are committed to good work Pawan said the debts of the state can be cleared only if the 13,326 Panchayats become strong. We are working on this.

Position is not a decoration for me but it is a responsibility. We are working hard and every Panchayat should have its own land and no irregularities would be encouraged.

He also shed light on the experience and credibility of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. I said many times that an experienced leader like Chandrababu is required. I won't shy away from walking with those who think better than me. I am interested to learn from Chandrababu, he said.

Pawan Kalyan made interesting comments on not taking Home Ministry. Pawan said that many advised him to take the Home Minister post but he wanted to work on villages and Panchayats.

He cited the example of Chiranjeevi’s Rudraveena. Pawan said the movie is inspired by Anna Hazare who showed what a sarpanch can do. He did not bring a change just in the village but in the country.

The Lokpal Bill and Right To Information Act came under his leadership. He showed that a Sarpanch can bring a big change in the country, Pawan added.
