1 Lakh Margin In Pithapuram: Big Task Even If It's Pawan Kalyan!

The election schedule was announced recently by the Election Commission putting an end to the long suspense. With this, everyone got clarity on when the elections will be held. The situation in the state changed as the Election Code became effective. Out of all the constituencies, a few are getting all the attention.

Without any doubt, Pithapuram is one of the seats. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan contesting from the seat is the reason for this. With this, the seat became the talk of the town. The parties are putting special focus on the seat to win the seat. However, there is a talk that more than winning the margin of votes is important here.

It is known that Pawan Kalyan recently said the party should win the seat with a margin of one lakh votes. His comments added more intensity to the already existing political heat in the state.

Pawan Kalyan's comments started a debate on whether winning the seat with a one lakh margin is that easy. If this has to happen then Pawan has to win the seat with double the margin of the previous highest margin.

The highest margin of votes in Pithapuram was recorded by SVSN Varma with 47,080 votes. If Pawan Kalyan wants to record one lakh margin then he has to achieve a massive feat. Recording the double margin is not that easy.

On the other hand, YCP took the elections prestigiously. An MP was announced as the candidate who earlier served as the MLA of Pithapuram.

It is said that the Cabinet Ministers might take care of the party activities and a Bus yatra might also be held to woo the voters. Sitting Pithapuram MP already said that he will make Vanga Geetha win the elections and they will meet Jagan after the win.

Kapu community is in big numbers in the seat and this is said to be the reason behind Pawan picking the seat. Vanga Geetha is also from the same community which makes the fight tough. Many say that the Kapu leaders might campaign for the YCP candidate in the elections.

On the other hand, TDP, BJP, and Janasena are in alliance. TDP cadre might come in handy for Pawan Kalyan. However, a few local leaders are unhappy with SVSN Varma not getting the ticket. Considering all these factors many say that winning Pithapuram with one lakh is not that easy even if it's Pawan Kalyan.
