TDP's First Shocker To Jagan: Probe On Pegasus Usage!

Phone tapping is a sensational issue in politics. We have seen how the alleged Pegasus row created a political sensation in the country and the issue also reached the Supreme Court. A big probe is underway in Telangana on phone tapping and a few cops have been arrested already.

Now we might say a similar probe in Andhra Pradesh too with the new government talking about this. We have seen Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh making big statements on phone tapping. TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu already sought a report on the issue.

Now Nara Lokesh made sensational comments which grabbed everyone’s attention. The Mangalagiri MLA said that there is evidence of Pegasus usage and he blamed Jagan for this. People are seeing it as the first big blow to Jagan from the new government.

Nara Lokesh said that there is proof of the destruction of evidence in the last term in the CID. He also said that the phones were tapped as the anti-Naxal team had access to tapping phones and their phones were tapped as well.

He added that their phones were tapped with the help of Pegasus and his phone was tapped twice. CM designate Chandrababu Naidu had already ordered the DG for a probe, Lokesh said.

With Lokesh taking Jagan’s name and saying that a probe was also ordered, everyone wonder if it would be a problem for Jagan. Phone tapping is not a small thing and we are seeing what is happening in Telangana.

On the other hand, YCP filed a few cases against Chandrababu and others when it was in power alleging that a few irregularities happened. As the TDP is talking about Pegasus more it might be a trouble to Jagan and others.

There is an interesting thing here. Earlier Jagan accused TDP of Pegasus row and taping phones. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee earlier alleged that a proposal came on this from the then AP Govt but she denied it.
