By: Tupaki Desk | 1 July 2026 12:24 AM ISTIt is already known that the Pakistan occupied Kashmir region has been protesting against the domination of the Pakistan authorities is here. Now there is a new development regarding this, and it is grabbing all the attention already.
The Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee has accused Pakistani authorities of suppressing democratic rights after a delegation of opposition leaders was reportedly stopped from entering Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir.
The committee also alleged restrictions on movement and supplies, describing them as part of a broader crackdown on dissent. JKJAAC reiterated that its movement is peaceful and vowed to continue protests until its demands are addressed.
Thousands of demonstrators at Rawalakot’s Eidgah Ground reiterated that PoJK is not part of Pakistan, delivering another major challenge to Islamabad’s control over the region.
“If the Pakistani establishment continues to block food, let it be known that the remaining borders of PoJK could open up. If that happens, Islamabad will find itself begging the people of PoJK to stay,” the opposition said.
This has become a full conflict now, and there is a lot of discussion happening about the kind of apprehension that Pakistan is having on the Pakistan occupied Kashmir region. It is perhaps time for the Indian authorities to be more vigilant of the same.
