CBN’s Efforts Worked: Centre Releases Funds For Polavaram?

Has the good days for Polavaram started? Well, the reports say yes. It is said that the Union government took a big decision as far as the funds are concerned. In the recent Union Cabinet Meeting Polavaram funds issue was discussed and an encouraging decision has been made.

As per the media reports the Union Cabinet approved the proposal to approve the pending funds along with the additional funds for the Polavaram project which is very crucial for the state.

What happened can be seen as a big success for Chandrababu Naidu. He has been meeting the bigwigs in the Union government including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah regularly to discuss the funds issue and seek help for the state.

Recently the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister met PM and others. The national media said that he visited Delhi to seek the required help for the state. The meetings and negotiations are said to have been worked as the Union Cabinet gave its nod for this.

TDP joined the NDA alliance again before the recent elections and this is a game-changing move. As BJP could not reach the magic figure the TDP helped it in this regard. In the budget allocations, Andhra Pradesh was given preference.

Now the funds are said to have been allocated for the state for the Polavaram project. There are strong allegations that the previous government could not get the funds from the Centre from Polavaram. However, the current government appears to be on target by getting the required funds.
