Actress Poonam Kaur needs no introduction. She is not an actress and more than that. Poonam is among the very few actors who react to the burning issues and give her stand on them. Earlier, she walked with Gandhi scion Rahul Gandhi as part of the Bharat Jodo yatra.

Her picture from the Yatra landed in a big controversy and the actress had to clarify the controversy. Poonam Kaur's posts on social media triggered an opinion among a few that she might join a party. Her powerful tweets are the reason behind this.

Earlier she created a sensation by urging people to not believe fake leaders who shout their voices for women's issues. In a tweet, Poonam Kaur said that such leaders cannot be trusted. She asked why they did not talk about the wrestlers. Poonam also used the Andhra Pradesh hashtag in her post.

Her outspoken nature and her habit of reacting to burning issues make her hit the headlines. Sometimes, she is also dragged into political issues. The reports of the actress possibly joining a party are also doing rounds.

Amid this, Poonam Kaur issued a letter saying that she did not wear any party shawl as of now and she doesn't belong to any party. She went on to say that a few politicians are using her name for their political gains and they did the same for the previous elections. She also said that a few leaders are calling her and her family members in the name of sympathy.

Talking about her work, Poonam Kaur said that she has been working for the weavers for the past few years. Saying that she has been raising her voice for women's rights, Poonam Kaur said that she will announce if there is any update from her.
