Indian Cricket fans are still unable to come out of the trauma of the recent World Cup defeat. Men In Blue led by Hitman Rohit Sharma fell short of lifting the World Cup trophy that too in home conditions. Crores of Indian fans had a heartbreak seeing the Indian team defeated by the Australian side.

The World Cup tournament took a political turn and the current trend is that the political parties are blaming each other for the defeat. The opposition parties are exploring ways to blame the ruling BJP. From selecting the venue to the presence of BJP leaders everything is getting highlighted.

The opposition parties are claiming that India would have won the final if the match had not been played in Ahmedabad. Now West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee joined the row and said that the presence of a few players resulted in losing the match.

Without taking any names the Chief Minister said that India won all matches in the tournament and lost only one match that was attended by the sinners. She also claimed that if the match was played in Kolkata or Mumbai instead of Ahmedabad India would have won the match.

It has to be mentioned here that the opposition parties are indirectly blaming the BJP for the World Cup defeat. Recently former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi said that panauti resulted in India's loss. Though he did not take any names many say that he indirectly targeted PM Modi.

Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that if the match had been played in Lucknow instead of Ahmedabad the match would have been won and India lifted the trophy.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma gave a new twist to the tale and blamed Indira Gandhi's birth anniversary for this. He said that the match was played on Indira Gandhi's anniversary and that's why India lost the match.
