Election Fever In AP: Parties Working Hard On Slogans!
Continuing the trend, the 2019 election campaign saw the active usage of the 'Raavali Jagan; Kaavali Jagan' slogan
By: Tupaki Desk | 28 Dec 2023 7:47 AM GMTElections and one-liners from the parties for the campaign go hand in hand. The parties use the slogans to leave a strong impression on the voters to get their voters. Every time the parties came up with catchy slogans luck shined in favour of them and they made it to power.
If we look at the recent Telangana elections, the Congress came up with the Marpu Kavali - Congress Ravali slogan which was widely used in the campaign. Looking at other parties, BRS came up with the slogan of Vote for BRS and Vote for Development. The two slogans were a big hit among the voters.
Telugu states always had a special place for the catchy slogans. When NTR floated his Telugu Desam Party, he actively pitched the slogan 'Teluguvari Atma Gauravam'( Self-respect of Telugus) and the slogan played a big role in bringing the party to power making NTR the first non-Congress leader as the CM of the combined AP.
Continuing the trend, the 2019 election campaign saw the active usage of the 'Raavali Jagan; Kaavali Jagan' slogan. The slogan added fuel to the Jagan's wave and we saw what the party did in the previous elections. YCP won the elections with a landslide victory.
Time flew fast and Andhra Pradesh is gearing up for the elections. In a few months, the state would go for the general elections. The major parties in the state took the elections prestigiously and they want to come to power.
To impress the voters, both YCP and TDP are said to working on the catchy slogans. YCP knows the power of slogans. It already has slogans like 'Why not 175/175' and 'First Target Kuppam' in its armory and the leadership is said to be working on more slogans so that they can be used.
The same is the case with TDP. Babu Bharosa Bhavishyathu Guarantee, Babu is surety for the people..Guarantee for the future are the slogans the party is widely using to cater to the voters in the state and we might see a few more slogans from the party.
Earlier, the Janasena party pitched for the slogan 'Okka Avakasam', seeking one chance to rule the state. It received a good response from the people. The party is in alliance with TDP and both parties might come up with joint slogans.
The BJP which has been trying hard to enter AP is also working on the slogans. However, the party has been banking high on Modi's image and the same might happen in the upcoming elections too.
