Poonam Kaur Highlights Jalsa Row, Reacting To Geetanjali Case!

Actress Poonam Kaur had a decent career with a few films to her name. Of late she took the path of activism and became a strong voice for important issues. If anything happens she will be the first to react and give her take on this. She is working for the weavers community. Besides this Poonam Kaur also bats for women's rights and she is vocal about this.

The Geetanjali issue is a burning case in Andhra Pradesh. Many say that the immense trolling she faced online forced her to take the extreme step. Her family said that she did not inform them about the bad comments she got over her video of expressing happiness over getting Patta under a scheme.

Poonam Kaur responded to the sensational issue and demanded punishment in the case. In a sensational tweet, she said that she is confused about whether trollers from a party were behind this. Not only that, she also said they are capable of doing it.

Though she did not mention any names she said that supporters of a particular party are capable of trolling women. Having demanded a punishment, Poonam Kauar also dragged the Jalsa controversy into the picture and said that there is no truth behind such fabricated news.

She said that Jalsa row was a fake story that was made against her and urged everyone to not believe it. The actress said that she never asked for any film from an actor or director.

“#jalsa story is a fake story planted against me , to make believe what’s not true , I have never ever in a lifetime asked any director or actor for any film . I always looked for alternate ways of living, I have rejected more films than I have done , please don’t believe it,” Poonam Kaur said on social media.

As the Jalsa movie issue was brought into the Tweet while reacting to the Geetanjali case, many wondered if the supporters of the party she was talking about was Janasena.
