At Last: MP Facing Sexual Assault Allegations Arrested!

At a time when the country was occupied with the Lok Sabha elections, sensational news came to light involving an MP. The sitting MP is facing allegations of sexual assault and the pen drive carrying the videos is said to have been leaked. The issue turned against the BJP raising more political heat.

Sitting Hassan MP from Karnataka Prajwal Revanna had hit the headlines for the wrong reasons as he faced rape allegations. A few women came out to fight against him saying that he troubled them. The issue took a big turn with the BJP facing the heat as it is in alliance with JD(S) in Karnataka.

BJP also faced allegations of trying to protect the MP due to the alliance. Many say that the issue might have an impact on the elections. However, the issue took a big town today with the SIT making a big move.

The MP was finally arrested by the investigating officers. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) nabbed the MP in Bengaluru. Soon after he landed at the Bengaluru Airport he was taken into custody and was rushed to the CID office.

When the issue came to light it grabbed everyone’s attention and the opposition parties targeted the BJP for not taking the required actions. An arrest warrant and notices were also issued against the MP. He was taken into custody finally. He might be presented before the Court today.

Revanna, the MP is facing allegations of sexually abusing many women. The obscene vidoes which were stored in a pen drive were reportedly leaked grabbing everyone’s attention. He hails from a political family. His grandfather H. D. Deve Gowda was a former Prime Minister.
