The Bharatiya Janata Party is enjoying a dream run in politics as it won two consecutive terms in Lok Sabha elections and is gearing up for the third election. No one would have expected that BJP would pull off such a performance. From winning just two seats to winning two elections the party had come a long way.

The party even has a good presence in the North Eastern region as well. No one would have predicted that the BJP would blossom in the region. But the saffron party achieved this with ease.

Ahead of the much-awaited Lok Sabha elections, celebrated political analyst Prashant Kishor who worked with various parties including the Bharatiya Janata Party for elections came up with an interesting analysis of BJP’s success and the strong pillars of the party.

Prashant Kishor said that four pillars are helping the party and it is almost difficult to defeat the party without breaking them and the opposition parties would be successful if they manage to break at least three of them.

Hindutva, nationalism, welfare, and the strength of the party are the four pillars of the party as per the observation of PK and the opposition parties might have better chances of defeating BJP if at least three pillars were broken.

Prashant Kishor said that Hindutva is the main strength of the BJP and it is the strong force of the party. PK believes that the sense of nationalism increased after Narendra Modi came to power and cited the prominence India enjoys among other nations as an example of this.

Welfarism is another strong pillar of the BJP. The beneficiaries of various schemes get the benefits directly and the amount would be deposited into the bank accounts. With the direct transfer of funds corruption had decreased, Prashant Kishor said.

The last strong pillar is the status of the BJP. Having won two consecutive Lok Sabha elections and general elections in a few states, the BJP is looking strong and financially strong with this.

Looking at the comments made by Prashant Kishor, it appeared that he gave a big suggestion to the opposition parties which came under one roof to defeat the mighty BJP in the upcoming elections. Let us wait and see if the INDIA alliance makes a note of it or not.
