Jantar Mantar Firing, Punjab Farmers On The Way: What’s Happening?

For the first time, the NDA government is facing a significant piece of backlash at the fundamental level. This is due to the ongoing protest that is happening at the Jantar Mantar regarding the resignation of education minister, Dharmendra Pradhan.

This event hit the climax position when a protest was launched towards the Indian capital and created a very problematic situation at the premises.

On top of that, there is another agricultural protest that is happening at the Punjab border region, and this is also going to trouble the government further.

Thousands of farmers are reportedly mobilizing toward Delhi to protest issues related to the proposed India–US trade arrangements and other agricultural concerns.

Security has been tightened at the Shambhu border, where authorities have put in place barricades and other traffic-control measures. Reports indicate that heavy equipment and additional personnel have been deployed as part of the arrangements.

This is one of the first times that the incompetent government is facing such a large scale protest in the recent times, and it is being established that the author authorities are preparing for large scale action against the same.

While the Jantar Mantar protest is more of youth oriented one, the latter is an agricultural protest that is being done by the usual aggressive Punjab farmers.
