Why Indians Facing So Much Racism Abroad?

It is an established fact that India is known to have some of the brightest talents in terms of human workforce, and this is the reason why several global companies hire Indians so passionately.

However, things have been changing drastically in the recent past as the Indian community abroad has been facing many particular situations and countless cases of communal racism.

Recently, there was a video in the United States, where an Indian couple was unnecessarily targeted and failed by a citizen of the US. “Are you from India? Go back to India.” Another racist incident targeting people of Indian-origin reported in the US.

A viral video shows an Indian-origin couple being verbally abused by a stranger, yet they stayed calm and dignified throughout the confrontation.

For all the lectures on “diversity” and “inclusion,” racism against Indians is becoming impossible to ignore globally. This isn’t an isolated incident either as we have been hearing several such cases involving the Indian community in the United States.

It is being estimated that nearly 50% of Indians in the United States, House suffered from racism or related social profiling in the recent past and this is a shocking number.

This is not confined to United States, either as many other countries like Australia, Thailand, Singapore, and others are also witnessing cases of racism against the Indian community.

This is becoming a growing problem for the entire community global, and it has to be seen where the solution would be established.
